Things to Keep in Mind

Only Service Animals Allowed
Non- service animals are not permitted on Museum grounds.

Must be Controlled
You must be in control of your service animal at all times while on Museum grounds.

Do not leave unattended
Service animals are not to be tied up, left unattended or left in the parking lots or in vehicles.

Please Keep a Safe Distance Between Your Animal and Ours.
Remember that the Museum will have program animals on the floor from time to time. Please keep at least a 20 foot buffer between your service animal and these program animals at all times.

Mind Restricted Areas
Do not enter the otter kennel room with your service animal, this is a restricted area.

Must be Owner Handled
Service animals must be harnessed, leashed, or tethered, unless these devices interfere with the service animal's work or the individual's disability prevents using these devices. In that case, the individual must maintain control of the animal through voice control, signals, or other effective controls.

You provide care and food.
Staff are not required to provide care or food for service animals.

Must be House Broken
Service animals must be house broken. Please clean up after your service animals.

Must Keep 4 on the Floor
Service animals are expected to stay off of rock barriers, keep all paws on the ground at Museum exhibits, and not bark at other animals.
