honored and excited to have an opportunity to make a contribution
and am looking forward to showing the Center off and creating
local and regional pride. It is well worth the drive and you

really attracted me to the job was evident from the moment you
walk into the Center and see the sailboat in the hallway. Children
can climb into the 14’ cat boat and are transformed into
sailors. They have the opportunity to move the rudder as wind
fills the sail of the cat boat. As you continue to walk through
the museum you can explore a life size two-story steamship that
takes you back in time. The 6,000 gallon aquarium allows you
to see what lives within the murky wonders of the Pocomoke River,
including our prehistoric fish Long Nose Gar and Sturgeon. Visitors
can experience various dive programs. Learn how divers communicate
underwater, and visit with our resident mermaid. The DDC captures
the cultural and natural beauties of the Delmarva region”

Festival at DDC on Dec 13, from 11 am – 3 pm.
